A luxury passenger bus has collided with a lorry in the Midiwatta area of Maradankadawala along the Jaffna-Kandy (A9) main road today (21).According to the police, the accident occurred when the bus, which was travelling from Colombo to Vavuniya, collided with the rear of a lorry that was making a right turn ahead of the bus.The driver of the bus, who was injured in the accident, has been admitted to the Kekirawa Base Hospital for treatment.Maradankadawala Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
