A 32-year-old man has been arrested with 56 liters and 250 milliliters of illegal liquor during a raid conducted by the Negombo Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau.Police said the suspect was apprehended last evening (20) during a raid carried out in the Dalupotha area of the Negombo Police Division following a tip-off.During the operation, officers had recovered 56 liters and 250 millilitres of illegal liquor, packed in 75 bottles.The suspect has been identified as a resident of the Kochchikade area, police said.Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by the Negombo Police.
