The Sri Lanka Scout Association will organise its 11th National Scout Jamboree from January 17-23, 2027, at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Sports Complex in Diyagama, coinciding with the organisation's 115th anniversary.

The 11th National Scout Jamboree is set to take place at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Sports Complex in Diyagama during mid-January 2027, according to the Sri Lanka Scout Association. The six-day event will mark a significant milestone as the organisation celebrates 115 years since its establishment.

Coordination for the jamboree gathered momentum following a planning meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat on July 30. The discussion brought together key government and institutional stakeholders to assess preparatory progress and establish frameworks for the event's implementation. Senior Additional Secretary to the President Roshan Gamage chaired discussions alongside Sri Lanka Scout Association President Ransiri Perera and Chief Scout Commissioner Attorney-at-Law Manoj Nanayakkara.

The meeting agenda centred on mobilising resources and securing commitments from state and semi-government bodies. Representatives from multiple government ministries attended, including those responsible for health, education, finance, youth affairs, and sports. Additionally, representatives from sponsor organisations, armed forces, and police forces participated in outlining their respective roles in supporting the jamboree's execution.
