The Department of Examinations has released the results of the General Information Technology (GIT) Examination 2025. According to the Department, the results were released on July 20, 2026, and can be accessed through the official websites www.doenets.lk and www.results.exams.gov.lk by entering the candidate’s examination index number. A total of 200,235 candidates applied for the examination, including 199,598 school candidates and 637 private candidates. Of them, 147,407 candidates sat the examination, which was conducted at 1,669 examination centres with the support of 325 coordinating centres. The Department said candidates will be able to download their official result sheets from July 23, 2026, through the online examination portal using either their examination index number or National Identity Card (NIC) number. Schools and education authorities have also been provided with online access to download examination result sheets using their respective login credentials. The Department advised candidates seeking further information to contact its hotline on 1911 or the School Examinations Organisation and Results Branch.
