AB Securitas has received the Gold Award in the Security and Technical Services – Large Category at the National Business Excellence Awards 2026, recognizing the company's three decades of industry leadership and commitment to innovation.

AB Securitas, a major player in Sri Lanka's security and cash management sector, has been honored with the Gold Award at the National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) 2026, organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. The award recognizes the company's performance across security and technical services in the large category.

The company, which has operated for over 30 years, points to several milestones in establishing its market position. According to the award announcement, AB Securitas was the first Sri Lankan security company to obtain ISO certification and received the National Quality Award for Business Excellence in 2015. The organization also holds ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management, a distinction it claims as unique among local security providers.

AB Securitas operates multiple business divisions including Static Security, Total Cash Management, Cash-in-Transit services, ATM Management, Electronic Security, and a specialized unit called KNINE Sniffer Dog Force that handles explosive detection and security operations. The company serves clients across various industry sectors and maintains involvement in professional associations, including founding membership in the Sri Lanka Security Services Providers Association since 2004.
