The company, which has operated for over 30 years, points to several milestones in establishing its market position. According to the award announcement, AB Securitas was the first Sri Lankan security company to obtain ISO certification and received the National Quality Award for Business Excellence in 2015. The organization also holds ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management, a distinction it claims as unique among local security providers.
AB Securitas operates multiple business divisions including Static Security, Total Cash Management, Cash-in-Transit services, ATM Management, Electronic Security, and a specialized unit called KNINE Sniffer Dog Force that handles explosive detection and security operations.
