22 Iranian sailors from the ship 'Lenore/Davina', who were held captive at sea by US authorities, have arrived in Pakistan's Karachi, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said.
The sailors were held captive by the US during the maritime embargo on Iran. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Information
Speaking on this, Ishaq Dar said, "Final arrangements are being made with the Iranian embassy in Pakistan to ensure the safe and speedy return of all the released sailors to their home country."
It is also worth noting that this is the fourth group of Iranian sailors to return home in the last two months due to Pakistan's interdiction efforts.
