German teammate Nick Thumm claimed the silver medal with a throw of 83.76 metres, while Latvia's Patriks Gallums earned bronze with a distance of 82.97 metres. Although Weber has established himself as a prominent figure in European athletics, he has yet to secure victories at the world championships or Olympic Games, making his consistent success at the continental level his most significant achievement to date.
