Sri Lanka's digital property management platform Apartner has partnered with Uber to provide apartment residents with exclusive discounts on ride-hailing and food delivery services through the Apartner app.
Apartner, a digital property management and smart community platform operating in Sri Lanka, has announced a strategic partnership with Uber to integrate ride-hailing and food delivery services into its resident benefits programme. The collaboration will enable apartment dwellers across Apartner communities to access exclusive offers for both Uber rides and Uber Eats through the Apartner mobile application.
The partnership reflects a broader shift in how urban apartment living is being managed in Sri Lanka. According to Apartner's Chief Operating Officer Shehan Adikari, residents increasingly expect technology platforms to streamline their daily activities. By incorporating services that residents already use regularly, the company aims to position its app as a central hub for accessing both property management features and lifestyle benefits.
Uber's Country Manager for Delivery in Sri Lanka, Varun Wijewardane, noted that the partnership allows the company to deepen its reach within apartment communities across the country. He emphasised that the collaboration addresses residents' evolving expectations for convenience across different aspects of their day, from commuting to meal ordering. Residents will access these exclusive offers through a dedicated benefits section within the Apartner app.
The move represents an expansion of Apartner's ecosystem beyond traditional property management functions, positioning the platform as a gateway to integrated smart community services. As apartment living becomes increasingly prevalent in Sri Lanka's urban centres, such multi-service platforms are emerging as potential focal points for resident engagement and convenience.
