The Bar Association of Sri Lanka has formally requested an unedited full recording of its August 12 discussion with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, citing that only partial footage with audio clarity issues has been released.

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has submitted an official request to the Presidential Media Division for the complete and unedited video of a meeting held between the association's delegation and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on August 12.

In correspondence dated August 14 and signed by BASL Administrative Secretary Surani Samarasekara, the association indicated that the material provided thus far consists only of portions of the original discussion. According to the BASL, the footage released contains audio segments of inconsistent quality and does not represent the full scope of the meeting.

The association has requested that the Presidential Office supply the entire recording, encompassing all statements, questions, responses, and concluding remarks made during the delegation's engagement with the President. Additionally, the BASL has specified requirements for the video to be delivered in optimal audio and visual quality standards.

The request reflects concerns about the completeness and clarity of the official record of the meeting between the country's judicial body and the nation's chief executive.
