The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will convene its 95th Annual General Meeting on September 18 at the organization's Mumbai headquarters, beginning at 11:30 AM IST. The confirmation was issued through a communication from BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia's office to state associations on Tuesday.
The meeting agenda encompasses several significant governance matters. Members will elect two representatives from the General Body and one representative from the Indian Cricketer's Association to join the IPL Governing Council. Additionally, the assembly will review and adopt the BCCI's audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2025-26 and approve the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2026-27. The meeting will also formalize appointments to the Junior Cricket Committee, following a selection process that includes screening, shortlisting, and personal interviews. The deadline for applications to the five committee positions has been set for September 5.
Other key items on the agenda include confirmation of minutes from the previous AGM held in September 2025, appointment of auditors for 2026-27, and selection of the Ombudsman and Ethics Officer. The meeting will also address appointments to various standing committees and cricket committees, ratification of rules framed by the Apex Council, and approval of associate membership for the Cricket Association Andaman & Nicobar Island.
