COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka has been named the World’s No. 1 Island Destination for 2026, topping the list of the 50 Best Islands in the World compiled by international travel publication 'Big 7 Travel.'The prestigious ranking celebrates Sri Lanka’s remarkable diversity, highlighting its golden beaches, coastline, lush terraced tea plantations, ancient temples, colonial-era towns, mist-covered mountains, and world-renowned wildlife experiences.According to Big 7 Travel, Sri Lanka offers far more than a traditional beach escape.
