An internationally acclaimed Michael Jackson tribute show will perform at City of Dreams Sri Lanka on 8 and 9 November 2026, featuring performer Lenny Jay and a full production with live musicians and dancers.
A touring production celebrating Michael Jackson's legacy will make its way to Colombo this November, marking another major international entertainment event for the island. The production, titled This Is Michael – Relive the Legend, will take place at The Podium venue in City of Dreams Sri Lanka on 8 and 9 November 2026.
The show has established itself as a significant touring production, having performed across 15 countries and 25 cities while selling more than 500,000 tickets globally. The production has appeared at major international venues including arenas in Mexico, Spain, Chile, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. The performance features Lenny Jay as the lead performer, with the production emphasising his studied recreation of Jackson's vocal delivery, movements and stage presence.
Beyond a conventional tribute show, the production incorporates a full theatrical experience spanning two hours. More than 20 of Jackson's most recognisable songs feature in the performance, including Billie Jean, Beat It, Thriller and Man in the Mirror. The show combines live musicians, choreographed dancers, period costumes, video recreations of iconic music video moments and elaborate stage design to recreate the concert experience Jackson's fans remember.
City of Dreams Sri Lanka has positioned the event as part of its strategy to bring major international entertainment experiences to local audiences. Tickets begin at LKR 7,500 and can be purchased through CinnamonBoxOffice.com or by telephone. The production is supported by multiple local partners, including Seylan Bank, which is offering discounted ticket prices to cardholders beginning in August 2026.
