Coal Probe Intensifies with Six Called to Testify

COLOMBO (News 1st): Six people have been summoned to give evidence before the Coal Commission today.The Commission stated that these include an official from the Public Utilities Commission, the chairman of a private power generation company, and an official from the laboratory that conducted tests on the coal stock after it was unloaded in the country.The Commission further stated that the individuals who had filed complaints have also been summoned for the hearing of evidence.The Special Presidential Commission appointed to investigate all coal purchases made in the country has received 28 complaints in total.
