The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) extended the Opening Market Auction Call after certain active Central Depository System (CDS) accounts were inadvertently suspended during the deactivation of long-dormant accounts.In a statement, the CSE said CDS accounts that had remained dormant for a period of 15 years were suspended on June 30. However, a number of active CDS accounts were mistakenly suspended in the process.The CSE noted therefore the opening auction was further extended to facilitate the restoration of the affected active accounts.Subsequently, trading commenced at 11:00 a.m., according to the CSE.
