LANKATILES has opened its 61st showroom in Mount Lavinia, located at No. 280 A, Galle Road, marking the company's continued expansion into coastal destinations. The new outlet has been positioned as a contemporary design space serving homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers and industry professionals seeking premium wall and floor solutions for residential and commercial projects.
The showroom features LANKATILES' product portfolio including contemporary collections, Double Fired wall tiles, Majestica large-format collections, Mosaics by LANKATILES, and the brand's Cool Rooftop Tile® innovation. According to company management, the Mount Lavinia location responds to the area's distinctive character—described as combining heritage, coastal living and contemporary urban lifestyles—by providing design professionals and residents with expanded access to surface solutions suited to both indoor and outdoor applications.
Priyantha Talwatte, Managing Director of LANKATILES, stated that the showroom aims to bring design, innovation and quality closer to customers while enabling them to create spaces reflecting their lifestyle preferences. The opening ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Architect Jayanath Silva, senior management and representatives from Sri Lanka's architecture, construction, design and business communities. Silva characterised the showroom as creating "exciting possibilities" for design professionals and homeowners to interpret coastal living through contemporary surfaces, citing LANKATILES' design capabilities and versatility as significant additions to the area.
