Dialog Axiata has introduced artificial intelligence capabilities to DIA, its digital assistant platform, enabling customers to manage services and access support through WhatsApp and the MyDialog app.
Dialog Axiata PLC has expanded its customer service offerings by integrating artificial intelligence technology into DIA, the company's digital assistant platform. The enhanced service is accessible to customers via WhatsApp at 0777678678 and through the MyDialog mobile application, providing round-the-clock support across multiple service categories.
Through the AI-powered system, customers can now handle a range of transactions related to Dialog Mobile, Home Broadband, and Dialog Television services. Available functions include resetting damaged recharge card PIN codes, submitting complaints, requesting service reconnections, modifying package subscriptions, and reversing previous changes. Additionally, customers can check account balances, monitor data usage, purchase additional data allowances, and activate international roaming services without visiting physical locations.
According to Dialog Axiata's Group Chief Marketing Officer Lasantha Theverapperuma, the upgrade reflects the company's commitment to modernising customer interactions. He stated that the integration of AI capabilities enables faster support delivery and allows customers to manage their services through their preferred digital channels. The company positions the development as part of its broader effort to provide accessible and responsive service experiences.
The platform represents Dialog's strategy to streamline customer support operations by leveraging digital channels that are already integrated into customers' daily communications. Additional information about the service is available on Dialog's official website.
