DIMO Agribusinesses, the authorized distributor of SWARAJ tractors in Sri Lanka, concluded its fourth annual "SWARAJ Parapura" programme in July, bringing free maintenance services and technical support directly to tractor owners across the country ahead of the Maha cultivation season.
DIMO Agribusinesses has completed its latest iteration of the "SWARAJ Parapura" customer support initiative, designed to prepare farming communities and their machinery for the upcoming Maha season. Operating under the tagline "දොරින් දොරට ගෙවදින සබැදියාව" (door-to-door connection), the programme marks the fourth consecutive year of the company's direct outreach effort to SWARAJ tractor owners across Sri Lanka.
Throughout July, DIMO's service teams conducted island-wide visits to customer locations, offering complimentary tractor inspections, minor repairs, and routine servicing. The initiative aimed to ensure that agricultural machinery was functioning optimally before the critical farming period. During these visits, technicians also provided maintenance guidance to help owners maximize tractor performance and reduce downtime during peak cultivation activities.
Beyond technical services, the programme served an educational purpose, raising awareness among farmers about the availability of genuine SWARAJ spare parts and DIMO's expanded after-sales support offerings. Customers received complimentary gifts as appreciation for their loyalty to the brand.
According to Rajeev Pandithage, Executive Director of DIMO, the initiative reflects the company's broader commitment to supporting farming communities through reliable products and services. He emphasized that the door-to-door approach enables timely technical intervention while promoting proper maintenance practices that benefit agricultural productivity across the nation.
