COLOMBO (News 1st) - Air connectivity between Sri Lanka and Vietnam has been further strengthened with the launch of a new direct flight direct between Colombo and Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City today (19).The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said VietJet Air, Vietnam's leading low-cost airline, officially commenced direct flights between Colombo and Vietnam.The Ministry said this is expected to further boost tourism and strengthen ties between the two countries.VietJet Air will operate three direct flights per week between Colombo and Ho Chi Minh City.
