The remains of acclaimed singer Visharad Dr. Nanda Malini will be made available for public viewing on Friday before her cremation ceremony on Saturday evening.
The final rites of veteran singer Visharad Dr. Nanda Malini are set to take place over two days this weekend, according to Professor Sunil Ariyaratne. Members of the public will have the opportunity to pay their last respects at the Nanda Malini Music Ashram in Nugegoda on Friday, 21st, with the viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The music academy, located at No. 30, Vijayaba Mawatha on Nawala Road in Nugegoda, will serve as the venue for the public viewing. Following the public tribute, the cremation ceremony will take place on Saturday, 22nd, at 5:00 p.m. at the General Cemetery in Borella.
