A Nuwara Eliya Magistrate has extended the custody of four suspects connected to the murder of a physiotherapist. The order, issued by Magistrate Pushpika Jayadasa, requires the individuals to remain in remand until August 3.
Among those remanded is the main suspect in the case. Three others, including the suspect's wife, are also in custody on suspicion of assisting in the crime. The court recalled the case to consider the remand extension.
