The Nuwara Eliya Magistrate’s Court has ordered the further remand of four suspects, including the main suspect, until July 30 in connection with the murder of a female physiotherapist in Nuwara Eliya.The remanded suspects were produced before Nuwara Eliya Magistrate Pushpika Jayadasa yesterday (16) by prison officials, following which the order was issued after considering the facts presented before the court, said Ada Derana reporter.The group ordered to be further remanded includes the main suspect in the murder, his wife, a driver attached to the Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha who is accused of assisting the suspect, and a Chief Inspector of Police who previously served as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Menikhinna Police Station.
