The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has announced that all fuel prices will remain unchanged during August's monthly price revision cycle, maintaining rates set in the previous adjustment.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation announced on Thursday that fuel prices will hold steady throughout August as part of its regular monthly revision process. CPC Chairman D.J. Rajakaruna confirmed the decision during a press briefing, stating that no adjustments will be applied to existing price structures for the month ahead.
This decision to maintain current prices follows a reduction implemented in late June. At that time, the CPC lowered the price of Petrol Octane 92 to Rs. 414 per litre and Auto Diesel to Rs. 382 per litre, while keeping all other fuel categories unchanged.
The announcement reflects the CPC's regular approach to managing fuel prices through its monthly revision mechanism. By maintaining August prices at their current levels, the corporation aims to provide stability for consumers and businesses reliant on petroleum products in the coming month.
