KUKA HOME, a global home furnishing company with operations in over 120 countries, has launched its first Sri Lankan showroom in Colombo through a partnership with local retailer Finco Homes.
KUKA HOME, one of the world's largest integrated home furnishing companies, has established its presence in Sri Lanka with the opening of a showroom in Colombo. The brand, which operates more than 6,000 retail locations worldwide, is being represented locally by Finco Homes, the furniture retail division of Finco Holdings.
The company, founded in 1982, operates 14 manufacturing facilities across China, Mexico, the United States and Vietnam, with a design centre based in Milan, Italy. According to Safraz Careem, CEO of Finco Homes, the partnership addresses a market gap for furniture that combines international design standards with local household needs. The brand is known for offering contemporary furniture at accessible price points, drawing on award-winning design and patented technologies developed through collaborations with leading European and North American design firms.
The Colombo showroom functions as a concept store designed to provide customers with an immersive retail experience. The space features curated room settings that demonstrate how furniture pieces can be integrated into homes, with an emphasis on smart living concepts for technology-oriented households. The full product range is also available online through the company's Sri Lankan website.
Sustainability forms a core part of KUKA HOME's business approach, with the company focusing on environmentally responsible materials and reduced carbon footprint in its manufacturing processes. The showroom is located at 12 Alfred House Gardens, Colombo 03, and operates Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:30pm.
