Beyond classroom instruction, the ban extends to the production and distribution of materials featuring predicted examination questions. The department has also prohibited the display and circulation of promotional content—including posters, banners, leaflets, and media advertisements—that claim to provide actual or similar examination questions. Individuals found in possession of such materials face penalties under the regulations.
The Grade 5 Scholarship Examination is scheduled to take place on August 9 across 2,723 examination centres nationwide. The Department's restrictions aim to ensure fair conditions for all candidates by limiting access to unofficial preparatory resources and preventing the spread of unverified study materials during the lead-up to the national assessment.
