Sri Lanka's examination authority has announced plans to release Grade 5 Scholarship results within a month, while the GCE Advanced Level examination is set to commence tomorrow across the island.
The Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage, has indicated that Grade 5 Scholarship Examination results will be made available to candidates within approximately one month. The examination took place today across 2,723 centers nationwide, with 294,089 candidates participating in the assessment.
Following closely on the Grade 5 examinations, the GCE Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to begin tomorrow and will continue through September 5. A total of 372,310 candidates are registered to sit for this year's advanced level examinations across 2,532 examination centers distributed throughout the country.
The Commissioner General has emphasized the importance of administrative compliance among candidates. She noted that all individuals sitting for the examinations must ensure their signatures are properly certified on their admission cards before entering the examination hall. This requirement applies to candidates across all examination levels currently being conducted.
