The program's distinguishing feature is its partnership with CyberTracker Conservation, an internationally recognised assessment methodology used by wildlife professionals globally. According to the resort, Hilton Yala is the only accommodation facility in Sri Lanka integrating CyberTracker Junior Tracker certification into its youth programming. This certification emphasises observation, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning through outdoor exploration rather than traditional classroom methods.
Participants engage in guided nature walks, wildlife observation, tracking exercises, archaeology experiences, and biodiversity identification across one-day or two-day program formats.
