by Staff Writer 26-07-2026 | 3:41 PMCOLOMBO (News 1st):The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Homagama Divisional Crimes Investigation Unit has been arrested.He was arrested by a team of officers from the Meegoda Police.The arrest was made in connection with an ongoing investigation into an accident involving two women who were travelling on a motorcycle.A medical examination is currently underway to confirm whether he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.The suspect OIC will be produced before the court.
