Telecommunications provider HUTCH received three accolades at the Dragons of Sri Lanka 2026 awards, including a Gold Award for artificial intelligence use, making it the only telco honoured at the ceremony.
HUTCH has claimed a Gold Award, a Black Dragon, and a Silver Award at Dragons of Sri Lanka 2026, a regional marketing communications and advertising awards ceremony. The company was the sole telecommunications brand recognized at this year's event, with all three awards resulting from campaigns developed in partnership with TBWA\Sri Lanka.
The Gold Award for Best Use of Artificial Intelligence was awarded for "The Roaming Hack," a campaign centred on HUTCH's roaming service that employed AI technology to reshape customer experience in that category. This same campaign also secured a Black Dragon in a separate award category. Additionally, HUTCH earned a Silver Award for Best Product Launch recognizing "HUTCH Pissuwak Ma Thamai," the campaign for the HUTCH 15 Apps product.
According to sources, the awards reflect HUTCH's integration of creative storytelling with product innovation and its deployment of technology-driven approaches across its marketing and business operations.
