A Sri Lanka Transport Board bus travelling from Colombo to Badulla fell into a 20-foot gorge, injuring 42 people.
The bus is reported to have met with an accident early this morning, Saturday, near the Diyatalawa railway station.
Police said that those injured in the accident have been admitted to the Diyatalawa Hospital.
Two of them are in critical condition, while one has been transferred to the Badulla Hospital, a spokesperson for the Diyatalawa Hospital said.
