The main Test series will proceed as planned, beginning at the Galle International Cricket Stadium from August 15 to 19. The second and final Test will follow at the Colombo grounds, running from August 23 to 27.

The reduction in warm-up duration represents a notable change to the tour's preparation schedule, though the timing between the warm-up and the opening Test remains unchanged at more than a week.
