INSEE Lanka, Sri Lanka's leading integrated cement manufacturer, has secured top honours at the 2026 Sri Lankan Sustainability Awards, repeating its success from the previous year.
INSEE Lanka, the country's only fully integrated cement manufacturer, has been recognised as 'Sustainable Organization of the Year' at the Sri Lankan Sustainability Awards 2026, marking the second consecutive year the company has received this honour. The awards were presented in collaboration with the 14th World Construction Symposium, organised by the Ceylon Institute of Builders at Hilton Colombo.
The company's flagship brand, INSEE Sanstha Cement, also secured the 'Sustainable Cement Brand of the Year' award for the second year running. INSEE's brands include INSEE Sanstha and Mahaweli Marine Plus, positioning the manufacturer as a market leader in the sector.
The repeated recognition underscores INSEE's commitment to integrating sustainability practices across its operations. The company's success at this year's awards builds on a strong performance at the 2025 CIOB Sustainability Awards, where it received recognition across multiple categories, establishing a consistent track record in environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices.
