India - The parents of Pune-based businessman Ketan Agarwal have issued a strong statement regarding his girlfriend Jiah Goyal, who has been arrested in connection with the mysterious death of his daughter.

It has been reported that Ketan Agarwal, a 20-year-old from Maharashtra, belongs to a wealthy family and was waiting to marry 20-year-old Jiah Goyal in a grand manner in a few days.

The daughter's parents, speaking on behalf of their son-in-law,

He died after falling from a 400-foot cliff. The investigation has revealed that his girlfriend Jiah Goyal is responsible for his mysterious death.

Following this, Jiya Goyal's parents, who spoke to the media, said,

“If their daughter is found guilty of this heinous crime, she should be given the maximum punishment. I still can't believe that my daughter committed such a crime. But whoever is found guilty in this incident, even if it is my daughter, she should be given the most severe punishment.

They have angrily stated that she should also be thrown down from the same Lokat fort where our Ketan was dragged and killed.

Following this, according to the police investigation, Jiya Goyal has shown reluctance to marry 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal.

The police investigation further revealed that she and her friend Chetan Chaudhary had hatched a plan to kill Ketan.

After the investigation, the court has ordered the further custody of Jiya Goyal and her friend Chetan Chaudhary, who are in police custody, till June 29.
