Jetwing Hotels has received 24 awards in TripAdvisor's 2026 Travellers' Choice Awards, the highest number of recognitions for any hotel group in Sri Lanka. One of its properties, Mermaid Hotel and Club, achieved the top-tier 'Best of the Best' distinction.

Jetwing Hotels announced on Wednesday that 24 of its properties have been recognized in TripAdvisor's 2026 Travellers' Choice Awards, marking the most significant achievement of any hotel group operating in Sri Lanka. The awards recognize accommodations and services that rank among the top 10% of listings globally on the platform.

Among the recognized properties is Mermaid Hotel and Club, which received the 'Best of the Best' award—a distinction reserved for establishments in the top 1% of all global listings. The remaining 23 properties recognized include Jetwing Beach, Jetwing Colombo Seven, Jetwing Jaffna, Jetwing Kandy Gallery, Jetwing Yala, and multiple villa and bungalow properties across the island.

The Travellers' Choice Awards are determined by aggregating guest reviews submitted to TripAdvisor over a 12-month period, with the awards reflecting direct feedback from travelers who have visited the properties. Dmitri Cooray, Managing Director of Jetwing Hotels, attributed the recognition to his teams' commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction. "This recognition reflects our unwavering focus on delivering heartfelt service and authentic Sri Lankan hospitality," Cooray stated.

Tripadvisor's Chief Marketing Officer Matt Dacey congratulated the company, noting that such recognition indicates properties have made memorable impacts on visitors. Jetwing Hotels, which operates over 35 properties nationwide, has positioned itself as a leader in sustainability and responsible tourism throughout its more than 50 years in the industry.
