Ireland have registered a dramatic victory over T20 World Cup champions India. This was Ireland's first international victory against India. They achieved this dramatic victory in Belfast, Ireland. Ireland batted first. They scored 182 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. However, in reply, India were all out for 148 in 18.5 overs. Ireland won the match by 34 runs. Ireland captain Loken Tucker taught the Indian bowlers a lesson to remember with a 36-ball 50. Gareth Delaney scored 49 in 32 balls. India's top scorer was opener Abhishek Sharma. His innings was also limited to 49 runs. Youngster Vibhav Suryavanshi, who performed brilliantly in the last IPL as well as in the final match of the Group A tri-series held in Sri Lanka, is also included in the Indian squad. However, he did not get a chance to be in the playing eleven in this match against Ireland.
