LOLC Holdings PLC hosted its third Global IT Conference, bringing together senior leaders from 26 countries to align on technology strategy and business transformation priorities centered on artificial intelligence and enterprise resilience.

LOLC Holdings PLC gathered more than 150 chief executives, technology leaders and business executives from across its global operations spanning 26 countries for the third edition of its Global IT Conference 2026. The three-day event, conducted under the vision 'Two Worlds, One Enterprise' with the theme 'Innovate at the Edge, Secure the Core,' included representatives from over 50 subsidiaries and business units operating across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australia.

The conference featured keynote addresses from LOLC's leadership, including Chairman Ishara Nanayakkara and Group Managing Director/CEO Kapila Jayawardena, alongside more than 20 expert speakers and five project showcases. The opening discussions centered on how emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity and digital platforms are creating new business opportunities while improving operational efficiency and corporate resilience. Nanayakkara emphasized that the Group must adopt artificial intelligence with conviction to drive its next phase of global expansion, while Jayawardena framed the organization's direction as transforming "scale into intelligence" through integrated technology, data and human capabilities.

Subsequent conference sessions explored artificial intelligence, data intelligence, cybersecurity, governance and enterprise resilience. External perspectives came from representatives of Microsoft, EY and KPMG, who shared insights on industry trends. Panel discussions featured LOLC leaders from both financial and non-financial sectors exchanging views on digital transformation, risk management and building data-driven enterprises.
