A 54-year-old man has been arrested in the Muwadhora Uyana housing complex in Grandpass for allegedly possessing the narcotic substance ‘hashish’, police said. The arrest was made during a raid conducted by officers of the Colombo District Crime Division.Police had recovered approximately 280 grams of hashish from the suspect's possession.The suspect is a resident of Colombo 14, police said. Further investigations are being carried out by the Colombo District Crime Division.
