by Staff Writer 28-06-2026 | 10:35 AMCOLOMBO (News 1st) - One man has been killed with a sharp weapon in the Kinchigune area of Weeraketiya.Police stated the incident occurred after an argument with another individual escalated.During the incident, the suspect’s mother was also injured and has been admitted to hospital for treatment at the Weeraketiya Hospital.The deceased has been identified as a 30-year-old man from Hakuruwela.Police further stated that a 30-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident.
