The 2025 National Awards Ceremony of the Sri Lanka Social Security Board was held today (24) at the Old District Secretariat Conference Hall under the chairmanship of the Batticaloa District Government Agent J. S. Arulraj and the Senior Coordinator of the Sri Lanka Social Security Board, Eastern Province, S.T. Sudhakaran. The District Government Agent honored the Divisional Secretary of Manmunai North, Mrs. Sivapriya Wilwarathnam, the Divisional Secretary of Porathivupattu, Somasundaram Ranganathan, and the Divisional Secretary of Koralaipattu Madthi, Mubarak, with national awards and mementos. The Sri Lanka Social Security Board provides an opportunity for citizens who are not eligible for government pensions and those over the age of sixty to receive pensions with government security. It is noteworthy that all services can be accessed through the website of the Sri Lanka Social Security Board, www.ssb.gov.lk.
