(Our correspondent) A 16-year-old student has died after two motorcycles collided with each other on the Piliyandala - Maharagama main road. The accident occurred when a motorcycle trying to overtake a three-wheeler collided with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction and then hit an electric pole. The deceased is reported to be from the Arawala area, while the injured motorcycle driver has been admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital and is receiving treatment.
