A fatal shooting in the Ulhitiyawa area of Middeniya has left authorities investigating a possible connection to criminal underworld rivalries. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. when the victim sustained fatal injuries after being shot by unidentified assailants.
According to police accounts, two individuals arrived at the scene on a motorcycle and fired multiple shots using a pistol before departing the location. The victim has been identified as the mother of a detained individual known as "Bako Saman" or "Backhoe Saman," who is currently incarcerated at Boossa High Security Prison.
