Two-day In-House Training Course for Language Teachers
A two-day In-House Training Course for Language Teachers of the Department of Official Languages (27,28-08-2025) was held at the Uva Provincial Management Development Center under the chairmanship of the Commissioner General of the Department of Official Languages, Mr. Saman Padmakumara. Here, instructions were given on updating the Tamil and Sinhala language training courses introduced for government employees and new teaching methods. Also, the Commissioner of the Department of Official Languages, Mr. S.M.S. Jayaweera, the Head of the Language Laboratory, Mr. A.L. Nalanda and registered language teachers from all over the country participated in this In-House Training Course.
