According to The Island, Weerasinghe performed at 'An Intimate Musical Evening with legendary Sohan Weerasinghe' held at Angus Glen Golf Club in Toronto on July 31st, marking a significant engagement during his overseas stint.
Beyond his performance commitments, the trip served as a much-needed family reunion. Weerasinghe spent approximately three weeks across Canada and the United States reconnecting with relatives who reside in those countries. The artist acknowledged the bittersweet nature of his departure, expressing mixed emotions about leaving his family members behind while returning to Sri Lanka.
