Sri Lanka's Examinations Commissioner General has dismissed allegations circulating online that Advanced Level question papers have been compromised, assuring students that exams will proceed as scheduled.

The Examinations Commissioner General Indika Kumari Liyanage has firmly rejected claims spreading across social media platforms alleging that question papers for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination have been leaked. According to Liyanage, these reports are entirely without foundation and pose no threat to the integrity of the upcoming examination.

Liyanage provided explicit assurances that no examination question papers have been compromised or removed from the examination coordination centres overseeing the process. The Commissioner General confirmed that the Advanced Level examination is scheduled to proceed as planned without any disruptions or irregularities.

In response to the circulating misinformation, Liyanage issued a direct appeal to candidates to remain calm and disregard the false reports. She instructed students to attend their respective examination centres according to the official timetable and participate in the examination as originally scheduled. The statement emphasizes the importance of public confidence in the examination system during what appears to be a period of heightened concern among test-takers.
