All Public Health Inspectors will contribute to dengue eradication activities at the technical level. For the first time in the country, a dengue eradication program and a program to obtain information about it will be implemented at the rural level. It is reported that Grama Niladhari, Family Welfare Officers and 'Samuga Shakti' groups have been brought together for this. Furthermore, all data related to dengue outbreaks and dengue patients will be collected at the rural level through this, the Secretary to the Ministry of Health said. Meanwhile, the special dengue eradication program will be carried out for the second day today in the Health Officer divisions where dengue awareness is high.
