NYNE Hotels has introduced tailored wedding offerings across three luxury properties in Bentota as Sri Lanka seeks to establish itself as a premier regional destination for destination weddings.

NYNE Hotels has rolled out a new destination wedding service centered on three interconnected properties along Bentota's coastline. The offering comprises Rock Villa by NYNE, a restored heritage estate originally constructed as a walauwa, alongside ANUGRAH and ANUPRIT, flagship properties of the NYNE LUXE Collection. According to the company, these venues collectively enable couples to host intimate, personalized celebrations with access to some of the country's most scenic coastal settings.

Rock Villa operates as a nine-room property set within approximately three acres of tropical gardens descending to the beach, structured to accommodate exclusive buyouts where the entire estate becomes integrated into wedding celebrations. ANUGRAH functions as a contemporary beachfront property featuring ocean-facing rooms and modern architecture, housing Table by NYNE – The Beach for dining services. ANUPRIT provides a more secluded seven-room boutique experience equipped with wellness facilities and an infinity pool. When combined, the venues allow multi-day celebrations to progress across distinct spaces and environments.

Nayantara Fonseka, founder and designer at NYNE Hotels, emphasizes that the service prioritizes emotional resonance rather than standardized packages. According to Fonseka, each celebration is individually designed around couples' preferences, incorporating customized menus, cultural experiences, spa treatments, and activities such as water sports on the nearby Bentota River and rooftop recreation facilities. The company positions its approach as creating comprehensive destination experiences that extend beyond the wedding ceremony itself.

The launch aligns with broader trends in the global destination wedding sector, which analysts expect to continue expanding. Sri Lanka has increasingly positioned itself as a competitive option within the regional wedding market, leveraging its natural landscapes and hospitality infrastructure to attract international couples.
