Those fearsome poisonous snakes known as naya, polanga, mapila, and magamaruwa are life-threatening. The reason why they frequently visit homes is that there are architectural defects in those homes. This has been revealed in the research I have done for some time. During practical tests, I have identified the following architectural defects in the homes. I asked the residents whether poisonous snakes and dangerous animals frequently visit their homes. The answer received from more than 90% of the homes with these characteristics is “Oh yes”. We keep this land like a temple garden. The yard looks like a bomaluwa. But they also said that snakes and snakes often come around this yard.
