Prices of multiple food items reduced from midnight today

The All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association has announced that, effective from midnight today (4), food prices will be reduced following the reduction in the price of domestic LP gas cylinders.Accordingly, the Chairman of the Association, Harshana Rukshan, stated that the price of a rice packet will be reduced by Rs. 15, while fried rice and Kottu will also be reduced by Rs. 15. In addition, the prices of short eats, Parotta, and egg roti will be reduced by Rs. 5 each, while a cup of milk tea and plain tea will also be reduced by Rs. 5 each.
