For criticizing the Local Government Commissioner's circular in the council and throwing it away, the Deputy Chairman of the Urban Council, Mr. Kisorai, has issued a gazette notification removing the Vice Chairman's post and revoking his membership in the Urban Council. Condemning the incident of the complete shop lockout and demanding justice, Chavakachcheri traders have launched a complete shop lockout protest today, Friday. The Chavakachcheri market and all commercial establishments are closed. At the same time, schools, banks, government institutions, and transport services are operating as usual.
