Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC) secured a convincing nine-wicket victory over the National Savings Bank (NSB) in the Janasathu Seva Division I Cricket Tournament, thanks to a superb batting performance by Sachindra Rupasinghe. Batting first, NSB were bowled out for 170 runs. Bhanuka Wanigasekara scored 46, while Janaka Manjula contributed 48. For Sri Lanka Insurance, Nalin Prabodh was the standout bowler with figures of 3 for 39. Muditha Iduwara claimed 2 for 14, while Nalin Maduranga also picked up 2 wickets for 39. In reply, Sri Lanka Insurance comfortably chased down the target, reaching 174 for 1 in just 20.4 overs. Sachindra Rupasinghe led the chase with a brilliant 93 runs, while Manoj Nishantha remained unbeaten on 52.
