Sanath Jayasuriya, a celebrated figure in Sri Lankan cricket, presided over the opening of DSI Premier's newest showroom in Galle City Center on Thursday. The store represents the sixth location for the premium retail concept across the country and signals the brand's strategic move into the Southern Province.
The inauguration brought together senior leadership from DSI Samson Group, including Dr. Kulathunga Rajapaksa, Emeritus Group Managing Director; Kasun Rajapaksa, Group Managing Director; and other members of the company's management team. The event took place under the campaign banner "The Elevation — Where Legacy Meets Luxury," which emphasizes DSI's established market presence combined with an upscale shopping environment.
The outlet stocks an extensive range of international footwear and apparel brands catering to different market segments. The inventory includes mainstream labels such as Puma, US Polo, and Adidas, alongside specialized footwear brands including Victory, Santa Cruz, Valencia, and Royal Wings for men, as well as Jessica for premium women's footwear. The store also features a dedicated US Polo shop-in-shop section and stocks AVI, described as a premium athleisure brand. Additional offerings include Von Wellx, Modare, and Vizzano among the available collections.
